Challenge
IMI Norgren approached us initially to undertake a comprehensive design review of the Express App which allows a user to search by product codes, barcodes, photographing existing products or by configuring new products.
Solution
Once completed it became clear that an update needed to be undertaken to fix a variety of conflicts and issues our review had uncovered. We redesigned the App based on our long-term understanding of the Norgren products. Language and iconography was reduced so that a user had fewer actions to perform tasks, improving speed and use. Imagery and content was repurposed to make use of the available space.
Result
The result is a more focussed and targetted tool, that clients can use on the manufacturing floor to aid purchases and decision making process.
