Challenge
IMI PLC is the parent company of Norgren and a number of other manufacturing businesses. The challenge was to take three existing sites across multiple territories and merge them into one new site, re-brand as IMI Precision engineering and deliver corporate, commercial and e-commerce functionality all from one location to all markets.
Solution
A series of design and IA exercises were undertaken to define the most appropriate structure and layout, and best user experience based on the reasons to visit. This was ratified and approved by the brand agency and the new site developed. Core deliveries were targeted for each market and the roll out to all territories carried out in parallel.
Result
A single, rebranded web presence that services all users in all markets with an ongoing programme of functional and content roll out across geographical regions to support the wider business aims.
