Criterion Audio Ltd operates one of the UK’s finest hi-fi showrooms from its location on the northwest edge of Cambridge. They specialise in two-channel audio, and supply only the finest products available from across the globe. They have three luxurious purpose-built listening rooms where you can experience some of the finest audio equipment available. Criterion needed a website that could replicate the customer experience online.
Igentics were approached by Criterion Audio to create a new website for them that would deliver and replicate the impression you get when you visit them in person at their fantastic headquarters, offering the very finest products
Our solution was to create a clean, modern e-commerce design, which is paired back to let the stunning product photography supplied by the manufacturers take centre stage. Images are full width and have lots of impact, but the content areas and product details are clean and surrounded by lots of white space, to focus a user on the purchasing decision.
Flexible templates with a high visual impact allow the products to shine, whilst providing the product details in a clean and precise manner, culminating in a simple purchasing process. All key calls to action use the Criterion red, which clearly identifies the button as a link and helps to reinforce the brand.
